Welcome. If you're reading this, you've discovered my new design hub.
I'm updating the studio to align with the scale of my projects.

Clarity is important.
Studio Stour is now the main brand for design.
The 3D Gardener remains my visuals/CGI division.
Same person. Same dedication. More defined focus.
Why the change?
Projects are expanding.
I want my principles to be perfectly clear.
Recent recognition in Ireland at Bloom and winning multiple awards, plus an array of larger scale domestic and commercial projects has provided momentum I'm eager to build upon.
The ethos (front and center)
Circular design — prioritize reuse, design for disassembly, create for longevity.
Reclaimed materials, used effectively — brick, cork, timber, steel. Honest and durable.
Biodiversity-first planting — layered, seasonal, pollinator-friendly.
Water-positive landscapes — rain gardens, swales, rills for enjoyment.
Low-carbon + local craft — fewer miles; superior craftsmanship.
Clarity through 3D — explore options before starting construction.
What stays the same for current clients
Nothing changes. Your scope, fees, timeline, and my involvement remain as agreed. You'll simply see Studio Stour on design documents and The 3D Gardener on visual projects.
This post is just to keep you informed.
What’s next
Case studies illustrating process, not just results.
Practical guides
Clearer narratives about materials, creators, and environments.
Thanks for being here,
David
